FRN Host - Erik Gregson
Who is Erik Gregson?
Erik Gregson is 40 years old and was born in Kamloops, British
Columbia (B.C.) and spent his youth working on the family
owned and operated dairy farms. Erik's family owned and operated
dairy farms in both B.C. and Southern Alberta.
Erik obtained a degree in political science from the University
of Calgary with a minor in business management. From that
point Erik started 6 different businesses, remain heavily
involved in politics and had six children with his wife Kay.
Erik and Kay have been married for 18 years.
Erik got involved in the Reform Party in 1993 and has since
sat on various boards for both the Reform Party and the Canadian
Alliance over the past 10 years. He has been a President,
Vice President and Policy Chair.
During his time in the Canadian Alliance, Erik has been a
key planner, organizer and moderator of three Alberta Policy
Conferences. Erik Gregson was awarded the Canadian Alliance
Calgary Southeast member of the year in 2002. He has contributed
to policy drafting at various levels and some of the policies
he wrote have been included in the official Canadian Alliance
Party Policy Declaration.
Over the past 15 years Erik has been involved in numerous
political campaigns for other candidates. On April 16, 2003
Erik was the Chief Returning Officer for Stephen Harper's
nomination.
Not all of Erik's free time has been spent in politics, he
has written a children's book, been a cub scout leader and
parent school council chair. |
