Re: Formal Apology
On behalf of the Freedom Radio Network and myself personally I want to formally apologize for any comments that were made about you on the Freedom Radio Network in response to your various Human Rights Commission complaints.
I realize now after understanding the Canadian Human Rights Act that it was inappropriate to do so, I am sincerely sorry for any concern or distress this may have caused you. As a result of some of your concerns we have completley removed all shows from 2005 and 2006 that you commented on.
We would also like to inform you that although, because of religious reasons, we are against same-sex marriage and firmly believe homosexuality is a sin, we have never had an intention to make homosexuals uncomfortable in any manner. If you have felt we have done so please accept our deepest apologies. Our views will not change, however, and if and when we discuss this matter again we will be careful to insure that our words are calculated before spoken.
Please be advised that this letter of apology will be read on the February 3, 2007 show of the Freedom Radio Network.
Again, you have our deepest and sincere apologies for any comments made about you and / or the homosexual community that have offended you.
